ThumbnailI know the Pac-12 conference believes their member institutions are more better edumacated than those midwest and southern hillbillies to the east, but the Pac-12 could learn themselves a thing or two about geography. Pac-12 Commissioner Larry Scott announced last week,

“The Pac-12 will be aligned in geographic divisions, with Washington, Washington State, Oregon, Oregon State, California [...]

It’s official. I’d like to thank the Dallas Cowboys for participating in this year’s NFL season. The Cowboys lost to the Giants 41-35 on Monday Night Football and lost their quarterback Tony Romo for 6-8 weeks.  Romo suffered a broken clavicle when he was slammed to the Death Star’s turf by blitzing Giant’s linebacker Michael Boley. I’m going to try not being obvious man here but the latest Nike ad chaps my ass for one reason:  Nike will jump on any controversy to try and sell shoes.   Don’t get me wrong I get it and I’m as guilty of it as anyone else. The ad is off the chain good, but [...]

ThumbnailThe NBA slogan for the 2010-11 season is “We’re Going To Play It Anyways”. If a season starts and no one cares does it make a sound?  Apparently, only if ESPN has the broadcast rights.   Oh, the Endlessly Self Promoting Network (ESPN) just can’t help themselves this year.  They, along with Total Bullshit Broadcasting (TBS) [...]

ThumbnailDenver Broncos’ rookie wide receiver Eric Decker is featured in the November 2010 issue of GQ magazine for being his hot-ass self. Can one team have too many hotties? I mean is there such a thing as too much sporn on one field? Just imagine the shower scene when Decker and backup quarterbacks Tim Tebow and Brady Quinn [...]

ThumbnailAuburn defensive end Joel Bonomolo hasn’t seen the field for the Tigers this year but playing time isn’t a qualifier for TheSportsFag’s Top 25 Hotties of College Football Rankings.  In fact, the only qualifier is (a) be hot and (2) be a college football player. The 6-3, 245 lb self-described workout freak took to the JUCO [...]

OK, it’s not just that I’m an Auburn alum, but I do believe the BCS has it pretty close to right this week.

    #1 Auburn
    #2 Oregon
    #3 Boise State
    #4 TCU
    #5 Michigan State

ThumbnailBaseball is a grind. It’s a daily game played, at times, through an excruciating long, hot, dry summer. Making it through the season with what you thought you had is just not a luxury teams, general managers or team presidents are afforded. Every organization goes into the season with a list of players they feel may [...]

ThumbnailThe irresistible force, otherwise known as Auburn quarterback Cam Newton, met the immovable object today. Let’s just say that LSU’s defense is no longer considered an immovable object after Auburn racked up 442 rushing on the SEC’s top-ranked run defense. Heisman trophy front runner Cam Newton ran for a career best 217 yards and two touchdowns [...]

They were the only two interviews I caught. I think since ESPN covers the entire and with CBS’ AFC contract they were probably the only ones. How ironic that by doing anything Fox looks like the station with more cred on this one?

Couldn’t find any because there are really no numbers out there as to how many gays and lesbians there are in the world; as far as the number closeted, it’s estimated at an extremely high percentage because for reasons of government, religion, family, fears of persecution, and a number of other reasons many will never come out or even acknowledge they are gay!

ThumbnailThis past weekend both ESPN and CBS assigned former Pittsburgh Steelers to interview Ben Roethlisberger about his return to football after a four-game suspension for ‘allegedly’ assaulting a female college student in Georgia earlier this year. Awww, that’s nice. How about ESPN use a real reporter, assuming they have any left, versus an athlete-turned-analyst?  I mean this [...]
