Lucy,
Thanks for the comment. Yes, the Buckeyes could still play for the BCS title, but they don’t control their own destiny anymore and they need a lot of chips to fall into place. The biggest things hurting Ohio State is that they don’t play Michigan State. -

I love talking football, especially with guys whose views differ from mine. I’m going to make a point about the Sooner’s schedule. They beat down #17 Florida State (ACC I know, but they’re ranked), a better than average Air Force team and Cincinnati. Granted Cincy isn’t what they were last year but Oklahoma scheduled them [...]

One thing I’ve learnd from my “across the great pond” cousins is they love their favorite pub and don’t mess with it. Such is the case as reported and written by James McCarthy of The Echo in which certain scoundrels want to make the 100 year-plus old Kings Cross pub anything but an old queen. Rugby superstar Gareth [...]

As with all things transgender nothing is simple, in fact it’s the most complicated part of the LGBT community both for the individual personally and in making or changing laws or policies. Such is the case of 57 year old golfer Lana Lawless who is a retired police officer and who underwent gender reassignment surgery in [...]

For the second straight week the top-ranked team failed a road test. This time Ohio State got smacked around at Wisconsin. The Badgers got a 97 yard kickoff return to start the game and then racked up 184 yards on the ground to power its way past the Buckeyes 31-18. What we learned this week… Michigan [...]

So thanks to NYC area LGBT bloggers and news media GLAAD stepped up to the plate to complain to the New York Yankees organization about the bleacher bullies who pick on (or “rank” as we called it when I was a kid) fans of opposing teams who dare show up at Yankee games. As GLAAD reports at [...]

Christian Ponder is the third player from the 2009 rankings to make TheSportsFag’s 2010 Top 25. With another year of development under his football pants, Ponder’s really turned into a fine quarterback for Florida State. Doesn’t he strike you as the possible love child of Joe Mauer and Joe Namath? Considered by some Seminole faithful to [...]

There’s just no way the Rangers can win this series, right? After all, the numbers are stacked against them. Hell up until last week [...]
