Easy Blogging

We know starting a blog can be intimidating, so OutLoudBlogs along with our friends at WPMU.org have just made blogging hella easier with three new tools that make getting started and keeping it going a breeze.

The Easy Blogging Plugins are easily, no pun intended, out favorite add-ons developed by WPMU.org, the company critical to the success of our Opus Productions sites and the OutLoudBlogs community.

Easy Blogging Interface
First up is the Easy Blogging interface which simplifies the default WordPress interface.

It’s called the Easy Admin area and swtiching between interfaces is as simple as clicking on the ‘Go to the Easy Admin Area’ or ‘Go to the Advanced Admin Area’ at the top of your dashboard.

Easy Blogging Wizard
We wanted to make things even easier for our new users, so we hired a wizard. Not the creepy old man in robes kind of wizard but an automated setup wizard for new users!

New users are given the option of going straight to the Easy blogging interface or going through a 3-step process (shown below) to get their blog up and running.

Easy Blogging Tooltips
Wait there’s more! We’ve added tooltips throughout your site, explaining what each button and tab does, which makes life for new bloggers that much easier!

All you have to do is to roll your mouse over a ‘?’ and you’ll get a useful pop up tip popping!

Epic, eh?
