Stream of Unconsciousness as I wonder why Glenn Beck’s bragging about being the better community organizer. Video of the day… (I know I should finish strong but this is too funny – 17 seconds) Movin’ on up… The Vikings trade for Randy Moss coupled with Sidney Rice’s return means if the Vikings make the playoffs they’re the NFC favorites. In his sophomore season Michigan linebacker/defensive end Craig ‘Murderers’ Roh is filling the hybrid role vacated by Brandon Graham’s matriculation to the NFL. As Roh described it in an ESPN interview :
“I’m that hybrid type of position, half linebacker, half defensive lineman.”
Last year as a freshman the former Gatorade All-American high school defensive end started every game [...]

Stream of Unconsciousness as I prepare for what will probably be the last date night with the hubby until the World Series is done. Why I need to get a press pass… Thanks to TabloidProdigy.com for tipping us off to the ass in the Yankees’ locker room that made it onto the YES network. Seriously what’s with that [...]

AP Rankings
Neither Texas or USC is rated, but Nevada is for the first time in my lifetime. There are four teams from the SEC West checking in with a higher ranking than the top ranked team in the SEC East (Florida #14): Alabama #1 Auburn #8 Arkansas #11 LSU #12 Oregon’s the second-best team I’ve seen this year and I’ve [...]

Oregon’s come from behind win over previously undefeated Stanford pushes the Ducks past Boise State into the 3rd spot in this week’s AP College Football Poll.
Texas’ loss to Oklahoma drops the Longhorns form the rankings for the first time in 162 weeks. Texas’ ranking streak dated back to Oct. 15, 2000.

Streams of Unconsciousness while preparing for a sports heavy weekend: (1) Going to witness Cliff Lee’s final pre-playoff warmup tonight and (2) Texas/OU Saturday from the Great State Fair of Texas, or possibly a bar depending on how much “the guys who need tickets” are charging. The smartest thing he’s said in months… It seems to me the [...]
