Auburn defensive end Joel Bonomolo hasn’t seen the field for the Tigers this year but playing time isn’t a qualifier for TheSportsFag’s Top 25 Hotties of College Football Rankings. In fact, the only qualifier is (a) be hot and (2) be a college football player. The 6-3, 245 lb self-described workout freak took to the JUCO [...]

OK, it’s not just that I’m an Auburn alum, but I do believe the BCS has it pretty close to right this week.
#1 Auburn
#2 Oregon
#3 Boise State
#4 TCU
#5 Michigan State -

Baseball is a grind. It’s a daily game played, at times, through an excruciating long, hot, dry summer. Making it through the season with what you thought you had is just not a luxury teams, general managers or team presidents are afforded. Every organization goes into the season with a list of players they feel may [...]

I know right. It seems like the objects in Newton’s Heisman rear view mirror are farther away than they appear.

The irresistible force, otherwise known as Auburn quarterback Cam Newton, met the immovable object today. Let’s just say that LSU’s defense is no longer considered an immovable object after Auburn racked up 442 rushing on the SEC’s top-ranked run defense. Heisman trophy front runner Cam Newton ran for a career best 217 yards and two touchdowns [...]

They were the only two interviews I caught. I think since ESPN covers the entire and with CBS’ AFC contract they were probably the only ones. How ironic that by doing anything Fox looks like the station with more cred on this one?

@joechuckknudson hey joe, in all of your research for your book did you come across any stats on what % of gays and lesbians are closeted?

This past weekend both ESPN and CBS assigned former Pittsburgh Steelers to interview Ben Roethlisberger about his return to football after a four-game suspension for ‘allegedly’ assaulting a female college student in Georgia earlier this year. Awww, that’s nice. How about ESPN use a real reporter, assuming they have any left, versus an athlete-turned-analyst? I mean this [...]

The Celtics newest and biggest big man, Agent Shamrock, aka Shaquille O’Neal, created a stir at Harvard on Wednesday. Shaq tweeted he was headed to Harvard Square to become a Shaqtue. After arriving, Shaq didn’t speak and tried to pose perfectly still for one hour while people took photos. I would’ve love to see the [...]

I’ve done a lot of what they call anectdotal research on the topic of penis sizes in the U.S. myself but it’s good to see a company with a bigger sample size than mine (insert your own joke here) tap their database to answer the biggest question facing gay men today: Where are the biggest penises? Top [...]

Stream of Unconsciousness as I applaud baseball for putting more umpires on the field for the 2010 playoffs. We haven’t had much, if any, controversy this year with the extra eyeballs on the field. But I still wish we had a machine calling balls and strikes like they do in tennis. The technology is available [...]

Tommy, I agreeah. There doesn’t appear to be a dominant team which I think is in part due to the mass exodus of college juniors last year trying to beat the first year of the NFL salary cap in 2011. Returning seniors are what’s so important to college. Oregon’s got a tough schedule the rest [...]

Lucy,
Thanks for the comment. Yes, the Buckeyes could still play for the BCS title, but they don’t control their own destiny anymore and they need a lot of chips to fall into place. The biggest things hurting Ohio State is that they don’t play Michigan State. -

I love talking football, especially with guys whose views differ from mine. I’m going to make a point about the Sooner’s schedule. They beat down #17 Florida State (ACC I know, but they’re ranked), a better than average Air Force team and Cincinnati. Granted Cincy isn’t what they were last year but Oklahoma scheduled them [...]

Couldn’t find any because there are really no numbers out there as to how many gays and lesbians there are in the world; as far as the number closeted, it’s estimated at an extremely high percentage because for reasons of government, religion, family, fears of persecution, and a number of other reasons many will never come out or even acknowledge they are gay!
